In the summer of 2026, QNP (Québec Net Positif) invites you to make a concrete contribution to the analysis of data from the Business Transition Barometers, the identification of inspiring SMEs, the structuring of climate adaptation tools and the evolution of our editorial and graphic identity.

QNP is an independent, not-for-profit transition accelerator and think tank whose purpose is to propel SME climate action to accelerate the transformation to a low-carbon, net-positive economy. Our mission is to create winning conditions for SMEs to implement climate actions while seizing business opportunities.

Job Title: Environmental Organization Program Coordinator
Start date: Flexible between early May and mid-June
Duration: 8 weeks, 35 hours per week
Compensation: $20/hour
Location: Telecommuting, flexible hours

Main activities

Strategic Analysis – Typical Business Profiles

Analyze data from the Business Transition Barometers to inform our detailed understanding of the evolution of the 5 typical QNP business profiles. Structure and write an analytical notebook highlighting relevant data, such as maturity gaps in the implementation of climate actions, levers for action and business opportunities specific to each segment, and their evolution over the past three years. Set up an Excel file to improve the analysis with the new data collected annually.

Coordination of communication content and training

Participate in the creation and updating of slides to showcase inspiring SMEs, following our templates and incorporating up-to-date information from additional research, while respecting QNP’s brand.

Data entryto support our training activities and stakeholder engagement.

Skills and qualities sought

  • Strategic analysis and synthesis capacity
  • Good command of Excel and Office suite tools
  • Rigor and attention to detail
  • Strong interest in the environment, the transition to a low-carbon economy, and sustainable development
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative and manage time effectively, in a flexible and remote work environment
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Requirements (Canada Summer Job)

  • Be 29 years of age or younger (inclusive) at the start of the internship
  • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person within the meaning of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
  • Have the legal right to work in Quebec
