Our recommendations
1.
Identify the "hot spots" in the value chains and mobilize the companies that
can influence these
To accelerate the reduction of GHGs and strengthen the individual capacity of companies,as well as the collective capacity of the sector to seize the business opportunities of the transition.
2.
Increase the influence of management teams and boards of directors engaged in the transition.
Withother industry leaders, boost their level of mutual support, influence and information sharing, for the good of all.
3.
Promote and document the evolution of the sector
In the form ofbalanced “transition stories” that enable leaders and employees to appropriate a common vocabulary around the sector’s transition pathway, key milestones and each individual’s contribution to GHG reduction.
4.
Help businesses assess where they stand on an individual basis.
And how their progress compares with the sector as a whole, possibly in the form of a sector diagnosis.
5.
Actively promote new customer requests and requirements
And new business opportunities to seize – these are the key elements that trigger aerospace companies into action.
