Founding President of Umalia, Lucie also brings 20 years' experience as a senior executive with major multinationals. It is during these years and with her in-depth knowledge of organizations that she has developed pragmatic and engaging methodologies to anchor sustainable development within business strategies.

Lucie holds a master's degree in management from Hautes Études Commerciales and a bachelor's degree in industrial relations from the Université de Montréal, and is certified in corporate administration, change management and an affiliate partner of the Shared Value Initiative network. Over the years, she has served and continues to serve on numerous boards in Canada and internationally.

Her commitment to numerous projects in Africa, North and South America, notably in the fields of climate change adaptation and collaborative governance, earned her the distinction of being named one of the 100 women entrepreneurs changing the world, as well as receiving the 2020 Accelerators Awards from the Canadian section of the United Nations Global Compact on behalf of Umalia.

Over the years, she has sat on numerous boards of directors in Canada and abroad. Notably, she currently sits on the Board of Directors of Décathlon Canada, and is an advisory board member of Grand Héron International, Education for Sustainability (ED4S) and the Conference Board of Canada - Leadership Faculty Member of the Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Institute. Lucie was named one of the 100 Women Entrepreneurs Changing the World and received the 2020 Accelerators Award from the Canadian chapter of the United Nations Global Compact on behalf of Umalia.
